On May 7th, 2026, our school’s arts and tech departments displayed their video projects, artwork, music, and performances. The dedication put into planning this event was incredible, and the result of the students' and teachers’ hard work really paid off. The night was filled with fun, warmth, and inspiration from the beautiful artworks on display in the Commons.

Throughout the night, there were various art pieces presented to the school community, ranging from performances to art and wood work created by the art classes. When Ms. Kurz was interviewed about how much work it took to organise the night, she said, “It took the work of all the arts and tech departments; it also took drama productions, dance, music performances, student videos, and various other clubs to make the night possible.” She also stated that her favourite part about A’n’T is “the photobooth and the make-and-take station", which is where participants designed their own buttons and ornaments, allowing students to express themselves creatively.

At 7:00 PM, the main show began, and students from the music department began their performances featuring the Concert Band, Jazz Band, AMU classes, and our winners' “Death of a Conman” from Battle of the Bands. Ms. Umachandran was asked about what she thought of the performance, and she replied, “A’n’T night was a tremendous success. The turnout was fabulous; the displays in the Commons and performances on stage were so much fun. I was proud that students were able to express a strength they may not normally be able to express on a typical school day.” The night also displayed videos and short films made by students from our talented tech classes.

The night was an amazing success. Families and students alike had a great time creating buttons, admiring art pieces, and listening to the talented performance. The A’n’T would not have been possible without the dedication and talent from our school’s Arts and Technology departments, Stage Crew, A/V Crew, Jazz, AMU and Concert Bands, Art Council, Music Council, and of course, our wonderful teachers who made this amazing night possible. We look forward to next year.
